Shifrah Beaded Headress Custom Kippah for Stephanie M

The lady wished to have a custom headdress based upon another Biblical Mother Headdress I had made, The Rachel, but with silver wire instead of gold and no coins, but retaining the crystal balls of the original. She also wanted a solitary charm or dangle that would somehow connect the piece with her Hebrew name, Shifrah, who may or may not have been Moses' actual mother, and one of the nursemaids  whom  Miriam brought to take care of her baby brother, Moses,

The design reflects Miriam's prophetic vision, Yocheved's determination, and the way women , like water, have had to flow between boundaries to do what we know in our hearts and minds to be right, and work together against injustice.
